2020-21

Undefeated in Morris County.  Due to Covid-19, teams maxed out at 15 games and there was no county or state tournament.  Vermont-bound and Morris County Player of the Year Bella Vito ends career with 1,139 points.  Finished the season ranked in the Top 25 by nj.com.

2019-20

27-1

Beat Chatham 40-27 to win our first ever Morris County Championship.  Undefeated at 10-0 and NJAC-American Conference Champion.  Only undefeated team in NJ for the final 3 weeks of the season.  Marist-bound and Morris County Player of the Year Emma Wax ends career with 1,387 points, second all-time in our program’s history.  Ranked as high as 9th in NJ by the Star Ledger/nj.com. Only loss was to Sparta in the state sectional semifinal in front of a standing-room only home crowd, right before the covid-19 shutdown. 

2018-19

18-10

8-2 conference record.  Ended our season by winning 12 of our final 14 games.  Beat top-seeded Old Tappan on the road in the state sectional quarterfinal, but lost at Northern Highlands in the semifinal.  13 of our wins were against teams that finished with 15+ wins.

2017-18

Most wins in our program’s history.  2-seed in state tournament, played in a home state sectional semifinal game.  Eight-game win streak in Jan/Feb.  Had seven wins against teams that finished the season with 19+ wins.  Top 10 in NJ in team defense (30.8 ppg).

2016-17

Seven-game win streak in January.  Finished 2nd in our conference with a 4-2 record.   4-seed in MCT, lost in quarterfinals.  7-seed in state tournament.

2015-16

Second season in a row with a 1st round state tournament win.  Seven-game win streak in January.  Lost to Morristown in MCT quarterfinals.  Kelly O’Reilly, D1 Manhattan College commit,  finishes as Montville Basketball’s all-time leading scorer with 1,774 points.

2014-15

First state tournament win since the 1970’s.  Seven wins against teams that ended with 15+ victories.  Kelly O’Reilly scores her 1,000th point, then becomes Montville’s all-time leading scorer.

2013-14

First home state game in 30+ years.  Made the Morris County Tournament quarterfinals and lost a close game to #1 seeded Morris Catholic.  Katie O’Reilly becomes all-time leading scorer a week after scoring her 1,000th point. 

2012-13

Best win percentage in 30+ years.

Best record in 30+ years and first season finished with a record over .500 in over 30 years.  

2010-11

Ended the program’s 72-game losing streak on 12/23/2010 against Kinnelon.  The program’s turn-around is gaining momentum.

Had four competitive single-digit losses that came close to ending the program’s long losing streak.

Conference Champions (Skyline Conference).  Montville was “second-half” champs and faced off vs. Butler who was the “first-half” champ.  Montville won 53-43 in the Skyline Conference final.
