2018-19 Season—Montville Girls Varsity Basketball

2018-19 Season Recap:

ª 18-10 Final Overall Record.   8-2 Conference Record (2nd place).   11-2 home record, 6-5 away record, and 1-3 record at neutral sites.

ª Ended the season by winning 12 of our final 14 games.  Beat top-seeded Old Tappan on the road in the state sectional quarterfinal.  Lost in the state sectional semifinal to Northern Highlands.  8-seed in both the county and state tournament.

ª We gave up 35.0 points per game, while scoring 45.6 points per game this season.  13 of our wins were against teams that finished with 15+ wins this season.  We beat four teams with 20+ wins.  6 of our losses were to teams who ended with 23+ wins.

ª Our schedule was the toughest in our program's history.  We played against the second-best team in the state (T.O.C. Runner-up), two county champions, three state sectional finalists, and three state sectional champions.
